Grant Park Wagon
The Grant Park John Deere Iron Clad farm wagon was originally built at the John Deere Company in western Illinois in the 19th Century. It has been owned and used in mid-Illinois, Iowa and back to Illinois in its long career. It was purchased by the Village of Grant Park and the Grant Park Chamber of Commerce in 2016. It has been restored by the Grant Park Foundation and continues to be maintained annually by the Foundation. It can be viewed between May and October at the Grant Park sign along Route 1/17 above the garden which is also maintained by the Foundation and provided with seasonal displays throughout the year.
